Can I resell samples, use Content ID, or train AI?

Know the difference between creating a new work and redistributing audio.

The Terms prohibit redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, uploading, or sharing downloaded samples as standalone files, stems, loops, presets, or sample packs. A license to create a new work is not permission to offer the raw audio for others to download. Share the Wavshare sample page so others can obtain their own licensed download.

You cannot claim exclusive ownership of an unmodified sample or make Content ID, fingerprinting, or takedown claims against it or other licensees’ lawful uses. Finding the same licensed sample in another creator’s track is not by itself proof that they copied your work. Check your distributor’s rights-management options against your sample agreement before enabling claims.

Using samples to train AI models or build datasets requires Wavshare’s express written permission under the Terms. A normal download acceptance does not provide that permission.

These are summaries of the Terms. Read the agreement shown for your download and any sample-specific restrictions. For a copyright dispute, follow the DMCA process rather than assuming that a shared sample gives you exclusive rights.
