Understand a sample’s license
Find the terms that apply before using downloaded audio.
Sign in, open the sample’s three-dot menu, and choose License, or read the agreement shown when you select Download. Review the displayed version and any sample-specific restrictions before accepting. This help summary does not replace that agreement or the Terms.
The Terms describe a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use samples in new audio or audiovisual works. Other licensed creators can use the same sample. Downloading does not give you exclusive ownership, permission to resell the raw file, or unrestricted royalty-free use.
Non-Major Placement uses may be released without additional upfront clearance under the Terms, subject to the applicable agreement and restrictions. A commercial release is not automatically exempt: check all Major Placement triggers. Follow any credit requirements in your agreement; credits do not replace license acceptance or required clearance.
Major Placement clearance is a separate workflow. If your project may require it, submit a clearance request before finalizing the release or delivery.
