Our Commitment and Scope
Wavshare LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, aims to make wavshare.com usable by people with disabilities. This statement covers the website, including discovery, playback, account features, uploads, licensing, and support. User-supplied audio and descriptions and third-party sign-in or verification services can affect the experience.
Our goal is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We have not established full conformance across the Service. A design goal or a passing automated check does not establish that every page, task, or assistive-technology combination works.
Using the Site
- Keyboard: use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between focusable controls and Enter or Space to activate buttons as appropriate. Dialogs use focus management and support Escape to close. Individual controls can have their own keyboard behavior.
- Page structure: pages use headings and a main-content region that screen readers can navigate. We have not verified a consistent skip-to-content link across the site.
- Appearance: account settings offer light and dark themes. You can use your browser’s zoom and text settings; report any clipping or controls that become difficult to reach.
- Motion: the site reduces many animations and smooth scrolling when your device requests reduced motion. Some loading indicators still animate.
- Forms: the support form has labeled inputs, field-error messages, and focused submission feedback. Keep the reference shown after a successful submission.
These describe existing features, not a guarantee that every control, focus state, image description, or dynamic update is accessible. Tell us which task is blocked so we can investigate.
Audio and Keyboard Controls
Use the labeled play/pause controls and track-progress control. When a loaded track’s progress control is focused, Left and Right seek in five-second steps, and Home and End move to the beginning and end of the available audio.
With a current track selected, Space can toggle playback and Left/Right can seek elsewhere on the page. These global shortcuts are suppressed while typing in standard form fields, on buttons, and while a dialog is open. Screen readers and other software may reserve these keys; use their interaction mode or the player’s controls where needed.
Titles, tags, descriptions, and waveforms can help identify a sample, but a waveform is not a transcript or an equivalent description of its sound. Creator descriptions vary, and the site does not currently provide a dedicated transcript or caption workflow for uploaded samples. If you need a description or alternative way to obtain information, tell us the sample or page and the format that would help.
Limitations and Assessment
This revision is based on a review of the current interface code and focused browser checks. We have not completed a current site-wide WCAG conformance assessment or verified every screen-reader/browser combination. Earlier contrast work does not establish that all current themes and states pass.
- Audio alternatives and descriptions depend partly on creator-provided information; some samples will need additional explanation.
- Complete keyboard journeys, zoom/reflow, contrast, focus visibility, dynamic announcements, and document accessibility still need broader evaluation.
- Sign-in providers and bot-verification checks can introduce barriers. Their involvement does not remove our responsibility to investigate access problems and seek a workable alternative.
The Service uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and accessibility attributes. Interactive tasks require JavaScript. We have not established a certified list of supported browsers or assistive technologies; include the combination you use when reporting a problem.
Report a Barrier or Request an Alternative
Use the accessibility support form. You do not need to sign in. Tell us what you were trying to do, the page or sample involved, what prevented you from completing it, and any alternative format or assistance you need.
Browser, device, and assistive-technology details are helpful if you know them, but you do not need to provide a medical diagnosis, disability documentation, passwords, or unrelated sensitive information. See our Privacy Policy for how support information is handled.
We will review your request and discuss available assistance or alternatives. We do not promise a fixed response or resolution time that our support process cannot reliably meet. Include any time-sensitive deadline and keep the submission reference for follow-up; making a request does not waive your legal rights.

Keeping This Statement Accurate
We will update this statement as verified features, limitations, and support arrangements change. Our priorities are to identify barriers in complete user journeys, address reported problems, and improve access to information and essential tasks. We do not claim completed audits, staff training, certifications, or remediation dates without evidence.
