1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to store information. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how you interact with the site. Similar technologies like localStorage and sessionStorage serve similar purposes.

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies WavShare uses and why.

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

3. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may set their own cookies:

  • Supabase: Authentication and session management
  • Sentry: Error tracking (may store session identifiers)
  • Google Fonts: Font delivery (Google may collect usage data per their privacy policy)

We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies.

4. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Here's how to control cookies in popular browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data

To clear localStorage data:

  • Open your browser's Developer Tools (usually F12 or right-click > Inspect)
  • Go to the Application or Storage tab
  • Find Local Storage and clear data for wavshare.com

Note: Blocking or deleting essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using certain features of the Service.

5. Cookie Consent

We currently use only essential cookies (for authentication and security) and functional storage (for preferences and performance). Since these are necessary for the Service to operate properly or to remember your explicit choices, we do not require separate consent for them under most privacy regulations. If we add non-essential cookies (such as analytics or marketing cookies) in the future, we will implement a consent mechanism and update this policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
