Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to store information. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how you interact with the site. Similar technologies like localStorage and sessionStorage serve similar purposes.
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Wavshare LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, uses and why. See our Privacy Policy for related processing and your rights.
2. Cookies and Browser Storage
2.1 Essential Cookies (Required)
These cookies support authentication and security. You can block or delete them through browser settings, but affected features may stop working.

Cookie lifetimes above are configured lifetimes from issuance; cookies may be renewed during use or removed earlier. An eight-hour cookie setting is not a guarantee that every session ends at exactly eight hours. Authentication cookies can also have suffixes or be split into multiple parts.
2.2 Preference Storage
These entries remember choices on this browser. Appearance and player settings use localStorage; announcement dismissal uses a cookie so a dismissed message stays hidden when pages load.

2.3 Functional Storage
With your permission, this localStorage entry supports recent searches. Rejecting or withdrawing this permission clears the saved list.

“Persistent” means there is no fixed automatic expiry in the app for that entry. It can remain until you clear it, the app removes it, or your browser deletes site data. Some account preferences are also stored with your account and may be restored after sign-in. Clearing browser data does not delete your account or server records.
3. Third-Party Services
The Service also uses providers whose processing can involve browser storage or technical identifiers:
- Supabase: Authentication and session management
- Sentry: Error and sampled performance diagnostics in the browser only after you allow them in Cookie settings, including technical identifiers. Session replay is not enabled; see the Privacy Policy for the information involved.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Bot verification using browser, device, and interaction signals. Provider behavior can depend on the check and configuration.
We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies.
4. Managing Cookies
- To remove data for this site, open your browser’s privacy or site-data settings, find wavshare.com, and remove its cookies and site data. You do not need developer tools.
- To remove recent searches without clearing other settings, use the clear-history control in search. Signing out also clears the app’s recent-search list.
- To change your saved appearance choices, use account settings. Cookie or site-data removal may reset local choices and sign you out.
Browser menus vary by device and version. Use the current instructions from your browser provider:
- Chrome cookie and site-data controls

- Safari website-data controls on Mac
- Microsoft Edge cookie controls
These links open third-party support sites with their own privacy practices. Browser controls apply to that browser or device; repeat your choices on other devices as needed.
Before clearing data: save any unsent form text. Blocking or deleting authentication and security storage may prevent sign-in or form submission. Clearing this browser does not revoke licenses, delete uploaded content, erase provider records, or replace a personal-data deletion request.
5. Cookie Consent
Optional browser diagnostics and saved recent searches stay off until you allow them. “Ok, got it.” allows both; “Reject optional” keeps both off. You can choose each separately or withdraw permission in Cookie settings at the top of this page. Withdrawing stops future browser diagnostics and removes saved recent searches; it does not delete reports already received. Essential authentication and security features continue working.
We store your choice, notice version, and choice time in wavshare_cookie_consent in localStorage. Your choice is valid for 180 days, then we ask again. Clearing site data also resets your choice. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only until the page is reloaded. Server-side operational and security processing is separate from these optional browser settings.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use alone does not provide consent where an affirmative choice is required. We will provide appropriate notice and obtain any required consent for changed practices.
