Complete your Rights Profile
Provide the identity and ownership details needed to publish.
Open Settings → Rights Profile. Enter your legal name, contact email, and Sound recording / master rights owner, acknowledge the sample terms for uploads, then select Save Rights Profile. Look for Rights Profile complete before returning to Upload.
The master rights owner is the person or entity that owns or controls the recording. For a solo creator who owns their recording, this is usually their own name. Artist name is optional: enter your producer alias or stage name for credits, or leave it blank to use your legal name.
Entity name, PRO affiliation, Writer IPI, Publisher name, Publisher IPI, and Publishing administrator are optional fields. Choose Not affiliated if you do not belong to a performance royalty society. Leave identifiers you do not have blank; do not invent an IPI or publisher to complete the form. Use your rights records to fill in details that apply.
Your public profile and Rights Profile serve different purposes. Changing your display name does not replace the need to keep your rights details accurate.
